This historical recreation Art Nouveau poster was created for a class project. The subject of the poster had to be about a local business and located in the Hudson Valley is the Headless Horseman Haunted Hayride. The poster is whimsical and spooky with the illustration of the Horseman and the fog flowing around his horse. The red trees are colored this way to be in the theme of Art Nouveau with its exaggerated imagery but also because photos of the Headless Horseman Haunted Hayride showed red lighting casting off trees in this way. The font is hand lettered for Art Nouveau style, but based on a digitally rendered typeface.
